Summary

	This event happened during three-way confrontation Hoth Confrontation Event Cold War (3653BBY - 3642BBY) between Galactic Republic, Sith Empire and White Maw White Maw Organization Planetary and Sector pirates on the planet Hoth Hoth Planet . A group of Republic operatives Republic Operatives Organization Temporary Unions arrived at the Jagged Plains Republic outpost and were approached by a very nervous Ortolan Ortolan Sentient Species who introduced himself as Neelo Droobas Neelo Droobas (Ortolan) Character Minor Characters (Cold War era) . He told them about a gigantic Skel Skel Sentient Species called Frostclaw Frostclaw (Skel) Character Minor Characters (Cold War era) , the biggest one they had ever seen. Droobas reported to the Republic authorities that the Frostclaw were hunting Republic scouts, but they did not believe him, saying they must have been taken by pirates Pirate Organization Communities . But Droobas was sure that when Frostclaw got tired of the Republic scouts, he would come after the Ortolans. The operatives agreed to deal with Frostclaw, and Droobas showed them where he thought the monster's lair was - he often heard Frostclaw's roar from that direction. The operatives went to the Western Showdrift Hills and heard the roar of a powerful creature coming from one of the caves. The entrance to the cave was a volcanic sinkhole spanned by a bridge. They entered the cave and were attacked by the Skels horde that lived there. Fighting their way through them, they reached a huge cavernous chamber, where they saw a mighty Skel - twice the size of those they had fought earlier - eating the corpse of a tauntaun Tauntaun Creature Non-sentient . At that moment, the creature saw them and charged, roaring as it ran. The operatives took up a defensive position, the Jedi Jedi Order Organization Galaxy-Wide Organizations in front of the others who opened fire. The creature fought fiercely, but from the very beginning it had no chance, soon it fell and died. The operatives returned to Droobas and told him that he and the other Ortolans were now safe. Droobas thanked them, adding that once the Republic saw that he was right about Frostclaw, perhaps they would hire him and the other Ortolans as new scouts.
